NPST or Integral Pup Joint?
NPST and integral pup joints solve the same spacing problem with different construction. NPST pup joints use threaded union ends and are suited to short runs, with 1- and 2-foot standard lengths plus custom lengths. Integral pup joints are forged as one continuous section with a smooth bore and are available in fixed lengths from 1 through 10 feet. Both are offered in 2- and 3-inch nominal sizes.
