Data Header or Blast Sub?
Data headers and blast subs serve different needs in a flowline. A data header adds dedicated access points for pressure measurement, instrumentation, sampling, or fluid injection. A blast sub adds a replaceable heavy-wall section where concentrated flow can cause erosion, helping protect the equipment connected beyond it. Data headers can be built in custom lengths with selected port sizes, while blast subs are available in application-specific lengths up to 36 inches.
